Bette Adams

  • Bette Adams is a set designer specializing in print and motion for advertising and editorial clients from Vogue to HBO MAX. Her unique talent for translating sets from medium to medium seamlessly makes her an ideal candidate for any project.

     

    After graduating from the School of Visual Arts in 2003, she began working with a variety of set designers, artists, fabricators, and production designers in both New York and Los Angeles. Her education provided her with a strong technical understanding in lighting— making interdepartmental communication on set smooth and effortless. Having trained with Mary Howard, it did not take long for Bette’s career to skyrocket. Bette’s years of experience equip her with an eye for detail and an understanding of how to achieve exactly what is desired. 

     

    Bette finds creativity and inspiration in the nuances presented during every project from concept to completion. She innately understands the language and objectives of the brands she works with, serving as an integral asset on every shoot and delivering original and aesthetically pleasing work that actualizes the concepts and designs presented to her. Bette brings to life the vision of the acclaimed photographers and directors she works with –creating new worlds with the ingenuity and care she gives to each project.

     

    Bette splits her time between the East and West coasts – traveling for work is her dream come true. In the last few years she has had the pleasure of working with and leading crews in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Atlanta, Nashville, the Bahamas, Mexico, and Paris.
